Without Music Life Would Be a Mistake

by Roxanne Lea Dubarry

Preface

A friend of mine, Sarah, gave me bumper sticker from The Old Time Music Association that once we both belonged to. I promised her to either write a poem or a song based upon it.

Without music life would be a mistake

For without music life oft times would

Be much too hard for all of us to take

For without our blessed Lord's devine
