It's All About Perspective

by Mark Wynn

The coronavirus has helped put everything in perspective. For weeks leading up to the current situation, those on the right, the faux conservatives were explaining to the rest of us about how the virus, with possibly 60,000 dead it wouldn't be any worse than the seasonal flu. This drove the news cycle and instigated the Left, the faux liberals who proclaimed correctly this is an absurd comparison.

Since the US has blown passed 50,000 deaths from the coronavirus, most media has been repeating another ridiculous comparison. They are comparing it to the losses of Vietnam. If A=B and B=C then is the war in Vietnam no worse than the average flu season?
