I believe a person can see progress in himself, and so I like challenges that will help me to move past my shortcomings. Admittedly, I face challenges like this infrequently, but I still value them when I do. I'm an introvert by nature, and tend more toward the ideal and what should be than the rational and what is. My worldview is decidedly Christian, though I'm certainly a product of my culture as well.
