The Pond

by JULIE MCGINNIS

RIPPLES IN THE POND GRABLE EMOTIONS,

ECHOEING PORTRAITS IN MY MIND.

SHADOWS COVERING MILES,SWALLOW MEMORIES.

HAPPINESS SLEEPS BELOW EARTHS SWELL,IM NOT WHO I UST TO BE,I FORGET THINGS MORE AND MORE.AGE IS CLOSING TIME,ON FAMILY,FRIENDS,AND LIFE.YESTERDAY,BUT A MOMENT IN THE SUN.COMING IS

DEATHS PORTAL WITHOUT A DECADE,CHRISTMAS,BIRTHDAYS

SPECIAL SEASONS IN THIS LIFE,WILL SOON CLOSE,RIPPLES IN THE POND SHALL SURFACE,KNOW THEN

WHAT WE HAD WHEN I WAS HERE,I HAVE TAKEN WITH ME.

TO THE NEXT BEYOND THE LIVING,I AM THE SPIRIT PONDERING YOUR MIND,AS I SAY GOOD BY YOU WILL KNOW

I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED YOU
