No Worries

by Kristi Kure

I no longer have to worry if he is getting enough to eat.

I no longer have to worry when he does not come home on time.

I no longer have to worry about whether he is happy or not.

I no longer have to worry about him when he is sick or sad.

I no longer have to worry if hes warm enough.

I no longer have to worry about his safety.

I no longer have to worry if he left the stove on, the doors unlocked or the lights on.

I no longer have to worry about buying him gifts.

I no longer have to worry him playing his music too loud.

I no longer have to worry about him using the phone too long.

I no longer have to worry if he will make the right decision.

I no longer have to worry about arguing with him.

I no longer have to worry if he is using drugs or alcohol.

I no longer have to worry if he is love with the right girl.

I no longer have to worry about him doing his chores.

I no longer have to worry about his future.

I no longer have to worry about his future.

I no longer have to worry about his future children; my grandchildren.

I no longer have to worry about him..

I no longer have to worry about seeing his smiling face.

I no longer have to worry about hearing his infectious laugh.

I no longer have to worry about teasing his hair and laughing with him.

I no longer have to worry about looking into his beautiful brown eyes

I no longer have to worry about hearing him say, I love you too.

I no longer have to worry about listening to him tell me a story about some book or music with such enthusiasm.

I no longer have to worry about listening to him praise my cooking. (He was the only one who did)

I no longer have to worry about seeing his latest sketch or reading his latest story.

I no longer have to worry about watching him grow into the man he was meant to be.

I no longer have to worry about him..

Now, I will worry about how to get on with life without him.

Now, I will worry about why he left us, chose to leave us.

Now, I will worry about how to pick up the pieces and have life make sense again.

Now, I will worry about not having him to worry about
