Elements of a Man

By Jaystone

Boredom has it's limits

As does life in itself

We ask a secret mage

To fulfill our grandest request

Nothing more is our desire

We are walking on troubled waters

Help me Jesus to see my errors

If only you could bear this burden

I've tried so many times

Yet I've fallen so hard

To the rocky ground below

I can't climb this mountain alone

For cries of an innocent

A child who bares no name

Walking in the shadows

He has no hope it's gone

Like the wind before him

He only wants what is good for all

Yet everyone prays for his fall

Defeated from his start

To death he does depart

In satisfaction he did not die

Upon a funeral pyre we all say goodbye
