Loveless I walked,
Traveling to destinations unknown,
Searching for something
-for someone-
To love and be loved by.
When all seemed bleak,
Dark, and daunting,
A bright ray of light
-of hope-
Entered into my path.
The light chased away the shadows,
Taking the darkness that had
Long inhabited my heart.
I was reborn into a better, more novel person.
The darkness was nothing but a distant memory,
And you, the light, are my future.
