like dogs
but with small hearts

we took them apart
in college biology
amazing creatures
and they crawl along
in a silent world
with mud and rain
could drive you insane
if you tried to figure out
the planet
but it is allright
we have Jesus Christ
some are fanatic
some are lunatic
but there is a Higher Power
like in Alcoholics Anonymous
they help a person figure out
their worlds
like worms
the sinners
that drink coffee till 4 AM
worms on the stairs
in the vomit
and seeing above
Halley's Comet
or some force
that is calling you
