Denial comforts me

Amazing audacity
Trust tainted
Numbness is a safety net

Everyday was a roulette wheel of pain
Dodging hatred always
Strength drains
As does the willingness to continue
Relentless onslaught
Bitter taste of reality
Trust shattered
Just to survive the day is a victory
Coasting through life
