Tales of a Storyteller

By Jaystone

A storyteller once let down his guard and spoke too much truth in this non-fiction world. His statements from boredom to grandiose escapism kept his audience sort of hypnotized, or better yet captive. He spoke on fear which is what everyone knows is going to happen. But when is the question? How much more truth do we need to fathom? We are simple beings with a complex thinking pattern. All the things we wish to understand eludes us. Which is why we'd rather be lied too than to know the truth. Because we all know the truth will set us free. And freedom costs too much for us to fully grasp and understand.
