A Bruised Reed

by Donna Carver

Once a strong reed, standing alone without a need.

You were so sure, so strong and bold.

Now the storms of the world are blowing in, you've been left bruised in your plight.

You have a choice to accept or deny.

You are only bruised, not broken this time.

He will mend you and make you whole, if only you would ask.
