No Love, No Friendship, Just Keep Going, or Go Away

Preface

What is a preface? A face that tells you where to look at, and what to see? Maybe.

Relationships? Usally fades away. Some lucky dudes may like to think they've found the right way. You know what, no matter how hard we fall in love even with the best friends we've got, we've seen, seventeen years of close friendship takes less than a year to feel so faded away. I know someone who feels so insecured to get into this kinda maze again. I also feel the very same way. Even though we know we we're going through it, we hate to accept it as a relationship, or don't want to lose us, and.. noway. No matter how we feel about each other, we'll never give it a chance, you think its okay?

Respect and devotion, that what was found in the eyes, we look at each other for granted, we don't smile, and I say, "its been awhile, huh." "So? What do you want me to say?" "Always busy to catch something?" She gives me a silly gaze, the eyes full of curiosity. Trust me, she knows I secretly like to watch her smiling in that way. Just a beautiful girl. Wild, intelligent, agressive, and innocent in the same way. "I appreciate that." "No big deal." "Its okay." "You think its that bad?" "You never asked." Didn't know she was expecting something, like help. "And you?" "Me?" "You want me to ask for it now?" "Did you ever asked for anything, yet? Especially when you got no one but me there?" "Is that so?" "So, guess you need some help?" "Maybe?" "Actually." "Cool, its okay, you got me." "Literally." "Things don't always happens your own way." "I know." "No, you don't." I find her trying to get some space right beside me. I know she's in deep shit. "A lil bit of fun, maybe?" I look at her again, secretly, while lit up the cigarette, knowing she doesn't like it, though. "you tell me." "Somehow it suits you." "You think so?" "Not inspiring you. But the way you lit up your stuff, the way you puff, and the way you secretly look at me, suits you." "No thanks, but that means a lot to me." "Antioxidants, you know?" "The smoking part? Yeah, officially, you got a pretty innocent face." "Oh, I see." "You see?"

We were at the middle of the desert. West Virginia. Mountain momma. Take me home. It was half past midnight. "Look at the sky. You see? Its looking at you." "Cool, you kinda sky watcher?" "I love to watch the sky." It was half past midnight. And we were at the middle of the desert. And it felt like somehow I am looking for some coffee. And didn't ask for it. Just like I never do. She looks at me, "Coffee?"
