When McCarthy accused Americans of being communists the idea was expressed as "red-baiting" .
"Red-baiting, is an intention to discredit the validity of a political opponent and the opponent's logical argument by accusing, denouncing, attacking, or persecuting the target individual or group as communists...."
It's about discrediting the validity of a political opponent.
It immediately occured to me thats what AIPAC and their affiliates do. Their go-to accusation of anti semitism reminds me a red-baiting. Zionism is like McCarthyism. So I thought "jew-baiting" must be the term for when you are publicly denounced for antisemitism. But no. Jew baiting is another word for antisemitic. How many words do we need for that? I only say that because there is no word that describes the accusations of antisemitism on an industrial scale...yet. We need to rebrand that. So mike my words; "Anyone who has ever criticized Jim Crow Israel will be publicly jew-baited and deported."
