Christian and Beany.

Preface

This the tale of two good friends, and how a non-believer in Jesus Christ, became a Christian. It is also about the Rapture of the Church.

"I am getting tired of you talking to me about Jesus Christ!" Beany yelled loudly at Christian. "I am sorry, I plan on going to heaven someday very soon. I just wanted to take you there with me!" Christian responded. Why were two polar opposites, such good friends? The answer was, they both were guilty of having bad tempers, and not being patient with each other.

" Why don't you get it after these years? I don't want or need Jesus in my life. I can get along just fine without him!" Beanie stopped her feet. "I suppose you can get along without me too?" Christian also stomped both feet. Not so interested bystanders were not concerned with the childish behavior of two so-called adults. They had enough of their own problems to worry about.

"Why are you so concerned about me anyway?" "It's because I am honestly concerned about what happens to you. Jesus Christ is coming back soon!" "How long have I heard it? Fifty or one hundred years ago they were talking about the rapture!" Jesus Christ did take the believers of those previous generations home with him. Those of us still alive will be reunited with them in the middle of the air."

"I'll believe it when I see it happen!" "That's the point you won't see the Rapture!" "Why not?" "You have to be a Christian to see it! A lot of Christians have never heard of the Rapture, and they are going to be surprised!" "When you disappear, then I will believe it! In fact, I am looking forward to it. It's the only way you will stop bugging me about it!" "Why don't the two of you just disappear together, and leave the rest of us alone!" One man waiting at the same bus stop was getting tired of their arguments. He had enough it at home with his wife. Fortunately, the bus driver pulled his bus up to the side of the road, letting some of his passengers to depart. The three people were the only ones to board the bus. After they had sat down and reached the back of the bus, the driver carefully pulled away from the bus stop. They did not continue their pointless discussions any further. Who wants to be kicked off a bus by a local bus driver?

Christian and Beany shared a seat. The man named Donny shared his seat with a complete stranger. The stranger was sending text messages to his girlfriend. Donny decided to check his to see if his wife had contacted him. Christian was reading the books of First and Second Thessalonians on his Kindle. Beany decided to look at Christian's Kindle. "After all these years I thought Christian invented the Rapture of the Church just to get me angry! He was telling me the truth after all!" It shall come to past in the last days that whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved! Beany decided to accept Jesus because of what he read for himself in the New Testament book of the Bible! The Rapture has not taken place yet. When it does, both Christian and Beany will hear, "When the roll is called up yonder..."

Love in Christ Jesus!
