I Feel Sorry for People Who Do Not Believe in Jesus Christ.

by Roxanne Lea Dubarry

Preface

Faith in Jesus Christ is a matter of choice and freedom of everlasting life. It is a free gift. It is the most important decision you will ever make and determines your everlasting destiny. Why not choose life and live?

*I honestly feel very sorry for the individuals, who have chosen from their own free wills. Either they do not believe in Jesus Christ, they blaspheme his holy name, or they ignore him. Why did Jesus Christ refer to himself as "The Good Sheperd?" A good shepherd cares for his flock and lays down his life for them. Yes, Jesus Christ takes perfect care of his sheep. On Calvary's Cross, he even sacrificed himself for us.

He paid their penalty for our sins. The blood of bulls and sheep could only cover the willful and disobedient sins of the children of Israel. "Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. Jesus Christ became the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. What happens to people, who do not accept his free gift, to bear the penalties of their sins? They must bear the penalties of their own sins and perish because of them. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23 New International Version of the Bible.

"And all are justified through the redemption through the shedding of his blood--to be received by faith," Romans 3:24, 25. Redemption does not give believers a license to sin. If our sin nature has been put to death, we will lose our desire to sin. It will no longer have any appeal for us. It will enable us to have compassion on those who mock our faith and our belief in Jesus Christ. "In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires."Romans 6:11,12.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have believed in the name of God's one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. And those who do evil hate the light, and will not come into the light for fear their deeds will be exposed. But those who live by the truth come into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done in the sight of God." John 3:16-21.

According to the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew Chapter five, the good or the evil? Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up to the mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them.

The Beatitudes

Blessed are the poor in spirit,

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn,

for they will be comforted.

*Blessed are the meek,

for they will inherit the earth,*

Blessed are those who hunger and

thirst for righteous for righteousness,

for they will be filled.

*Blessed are the merciful

for they will be shown mercy*

*Blessed are the pure in heart,

for they will see God.

*Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called,

children of God.

Blessed are the persecuted because of righteousness

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The world will not be inherited by the wicked, the mockers and scoffers, the agnostics and the atheists. The world of science unless matched by faith is a comfortless world to exist. It offers no solutions to the basic problems plaguing humanity. On the other hand, if we choose life, we shall live. If we choose death, we shall perish in our sins.

Love in Christ Jesus!
