We Will Fly Away Very Soon Someday!

by Roxanne Lea Dubarry

Preface

This is an older poem about our rapture into heaven, at the sound of the last trumpet.

"I'll fly away." Jesus Christ will be coming back

very soon one day. And, "I'll fly away."

Far above the earth and sky,

and far beyond the moon and the sun.

"I'll fly away." I won't be leaving

this old sin drenched world on my own.

We will fly away to our brand new heavenly home.

We will be leaving this old world behind.

We will be exiting this world in the twinkling of an eye.

We will bide this whole wide world goodbye.

Jesus Christ will wipe away all tear drops from our eyes.

We will be reunited with the dead in the Christ by and by.

We will meet and greet each other in the middle of

the cloudy sky. We will meet Jesus Christ in the middle of the air.

Leaving far behind our lives riddled with earthly cares.

At the sound of the last Trumpet, we will be gone

We will bide this old world so long!

This is the tail end of my song.

Love in Christ Jesus!
