A True

by Kari-Jade Sullivan

Strength breaks through the hardest

Using that last jump rockets past the farthest

Rain, sleet, nor snow, can't delay

Vague senses of confidence, that won't stay

Inside, there was a steel heart devestated with pain

Very much deeper, there is a golden heart where not even the ugliest can stain

Euphoric happiness starts to replace

Recurring hurt that my soul once was laced
