She runs to his small apartment every evening .

Away from work , people who don't care and the horrible daily grind , which is her life .

His place is warm and her place of refuge .

Where she can run away from life and have a place of her own to run to .

A place that makes her feel like the person she really is and a best friend who isn't afraid to really listen to her .

They lie in the dark kissing , caressing and holding onto each other like there's no tomorrow .

Every second , minute and hour , is a new memory for the both of them and their connection , becomes even more stronger.

They talk about the people around them , their childhoods and how the became , who they are .

The clock ticks by midnight , two am , four am and six am .

Tick , tock, tick, tock .

The early hours of the morning approach very slowly,

as he begins to falls into a deep sleep .

She watches him and strokes his mousy blond hair .

Realising how much she really misses him ,

whilst he is dreaming about her .

The dream the same dreams , speak the same words and think with the same brain .

They are their everything and the missing jigsaw piece in an empty puzzle .
