Biography
Richard David Briggs resides at 526 Laurier Street, in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Canada. He obtained a BA. Honors Degree in English and a Bachelor of Education at the University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
He taught English at Hawkesbury District High School for thirty years and Commercial Mathematics at Algonquin College off campus courses for seventeen years.
Richard David is now presently retired in Hawkesbury, Ontario, Ca.. He was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with a Celtic and British background and graduated from high school there.
He is married to Claudette Beaudry (Ontario French Canadian) and they raised one daughter and four sons.
On his mother's side, his Grandfather, Christopher Bennett, was from Dublin, Ireland who had married a British woman Elizabeth Miles. Richard David's mother was born just off the coast of Nova Scotia coming over from Ireland. Richard is first generation in Canada on His Mother's side.
Richard David's father, Richard Briggs Senior, was born in Vancouver, B.C. Canada as first generation. His father, David Briggs, was British and his wife was Scottish. Richard is second generation on his father's side.
Being brought up in the Celtic Traditions, he writes many of his stories in this dialect.
His parents and grandparents have long since passed on to Heaven to be with the Lord.
He enjoys writing Christian poems, stories, and novellas to serve Jesus Christ, Our Lord!
