Biography
I took to story writing quite early in my school days and found myself to be one of the few in my class who actually enjoyed it. For me, any kind of creative writing assignment was, simply put, fun! Over the years - I'm 49 now - I've pumped out my fair share of short stories, many long lost, along with a baseball novella and even a couple of screenplay attempts. I've never been very disciplined, though, and usually have to force myself to pick up the pen. Discovering this website has rekindled my interest in short stories. I love the fact that they aren't terribly demanding, time wise, and that if you flop with your latest, there is always another just around the corner. I admit that my stuff (most of it) can be quite bizarre but, hey, it's only fiction.
I live in Ontario, Canada and look forward to reading the works of others on this site as well. Hopefully, we can share our comments and encourage each other.
