Biography
When I was 8 years old my parents took me to Walt Disney World for the very first time, it made a huge impact on me. My love for Disney still survives 41 years later, however it was more than just Disney that captured my heart on that trip.
Growing up in Ontario Canada, I endured very cold and snowy winters so it was an amazing treat to be taken to the wonderully warm state of Florida that year. That trip was magical, and it wasn't just Disney that made it so. I fell in love with the state during that trip as well and I have returned to it a few times in my adult life.
Each time I cross that state border, whether by air or by land, I feel like I am home and it is this amazing connection I have with the state that inspires me to write about it. My stories are fiction for the most part, but I enjoy integrating real Florida history into the storyline so that the reader can take a piece of the real Florida into their heart as well, just as it has made a place in mine.
