Biography
A short bio! Sure! I am a retired Registered Nurse. I retired at age 51 from a hospital in Nova Scotia where I lived for 30 years. I had been doing a lot of photography, it is a great passion of mine and I have a webshot site at The purpose of the site is to promote my own province of Nfld. Canada. My husband and I both retired in 2000, and returned home. Our two offspring were in Western Canada and it was time for a change. We built a new retirement home that we designed ourselves.
Then I started writing the occasional short story, and getting them published in a 'Slice of Life' section of a Newfoundland newspaper. Well, I was hooked! I have been writing ever since. I think I will always want to write, take photos, and skidoo over the snow banks. Boating down the bay in the summer is a dream come true. Fishing is also an interest of mine.
So, I am 55 now, the new house feels like home, and I can see the ocean everyday!
