hi, and welcome

Thanks for the feedback.
The only reason authors don't have the ability to post/edit their stories here, is that it would be open to a lot of abuse as the site is free-for-all rather than a membership site. You've only got to see some of the 'stories' submitted over the past few days which were no more than abusive text. I'm not saying it isn't possible, it's just we'd have to find a way to work around the possible system abuse.
If you did want to edit/delete anything, just submit the new version using the submit form and it'll replace the old version (just let me know by email too, as the automatic replace feature isn't active as yet). We check emails and submissions regularly during the day, so don't worry about changes not going through

hit-counters are a possibility, but not as easy to set up as on normal html pages. As the stories/author pages are perl based, it may prove a bit more difficult to keep track. It's definitely something to look at though. Thanks for the suggestion!
There is already a feedback system on the site. If you scroll down to the bottom of any story, you'll see an add/view comments link. This is where any feedback is collected.
If you wanted an email link too, you could add it to you bio information. If you look at Larry Purcell's bio info, you'll see that he has a link to a book review, so the same can be done for email links and such.
Thanks again for the suggestions/feedback. We hope to make this a great community and resource

Marc
