Pleased~Proud - Yes! two feelings today.  I've just entered a charity race called Race For Life, which is a 5k race for cancer research.  I'm doing it in memory of my mum.  I'll have to get fit now. Roll Eyes

Quiet - Waiting for the bus in the morning, in the cold; watching the snow drift gently down on puffs of a breeze, dancing through the streetlight's glow.  A peaceful way to begin the day..too bad it doesn't stay like this.

Yearning - for spring.  Our first major snowfall of the year (it has been a very quiet, though cold, winter) has dumped some 25 cm of snow, sleet, freezing rain etc. on Ottawa, and I'm yearning for spring (less than 2 calendar weeks away) and warm breezes on a sunny day, crocuses, tulips and daffodils wafting gently in said breezes, song birds returning and filling the air with their joyous trills.
