This is really short, im new the the whole writing thing so sorry in advance for this attempt -_-
You could feel the cold as it hung in the air, the swirling mist enveloping the carriage's wheels and it slowly creaked down the cobble road. “Hail mistress, we are nearing the princes house”, the sullen drivers voice was nearly lost as from the sky came rolling thunder and the rain picked up in a sudden fury. Having to shout to be heard was becoming a serious problem “Can we not go faster, I want out of this storm before I'm soaked through the roof” the maiden shouted just for a reply just as loud “I'm afraid I cannot my lady, the mist you see, its making it so I cant see, the horses are not willing as it is” normally no one short of a lord or family would dare to shout at a lady for far of a flogging or worse..... The thought of a hangman came vividly and vanished as quick as he has thought of it, If this driver could save his wife and daughter then he would do more then shout in the presence of a lady. After a pause of silence broken only by the sound of the thunder forking the sky the carriage came to a sudden halt, “My lady” the driver still had to shout to be heard over the weather, “we are to go the last pathway by foot, the carriage is to large to go all the way”. The Lady let herself get led down the few steps to the muddy floor beneath, muttering under her breath, to be honest with herself, she was talking as loudly as she would to a hall of people but the effect was the same. After a short walk through the pathway flanked by large Cherry Blossoms she finally arrived at the gate to the manor house, looking up seemingly ignoring the storm clouds billowing overhead, the fine noble put her right hand into the pocket of her overcoat and removed a rolled up parchment, reading it through again in her head, what was this great secret he needed to keep so hidden and only she could help with....
