02/23/2005: "New writing challenge"

Hi everyone

Well this is my first blog entry...gawd I must be getting old, because i've never heard of a blog before other than the jean variety!

Well I just wanted to let everyone know about our new writing challenge.
This is a great exercise in practising vantage point. Basically you write a short-story of about 500-1000 words about a day in the life of your pet (from THEIR point of view!).
What does Dover do when his master isn't about? Has your pet done something completely astonishing and you want to write about it from their point of view?

This is a great idea for a challenge and I would be more than happy to enter it except that I don't have 500 words to write about my cat. I mean, how many words can cover a day that consists of eat, drink ,potty, sleep, eat, drink ,potty, sleep, eat, drink, potty, sleep? Now, if I could only find 488 more words I be doing great!
